Insulator and its types

Image
In this article, we are going to talk about insulators. After introducing it, we will examine the   Types of Insulator . Join us. Insulators are materials in which free electrons do not flow and inhibit electrical current. Insulators are mainly used as protectors in household appliances. The term insulator is also used more specifically to refer to insulating supports used to attach electric power distribution or transmission lines to utility poles and transmission towers.  More Details in Linquip And introducing different types of insulators. Insulators are generally divided into seven categories, which are: Pin insulator Strain insulator Stay insulator Post type insulator Suspension insulator Shackle insulator Disc insulator First, we will introduce the Pin insulator.  What is Pin Insulator ? A pin insulator is a device that separates a wire from physical support on an electric pole. So, it can be said that it is used to insulate wires. in insulators are one of three types of overh

Introducing three important industrial parts

Image
This article intends to introduce and review three important industrial parts: gearbox, Diesel Generator, and AC Generators. Stay with us. Gearbox The gearbox is an essential part of industrial machinery. The purpose of gearboxes is to increase the output torque or change the speed of an engine. Gearboxes are used in agricultural, industrial, construction, mining, and automotive equipment and are available in various designs and specifications.  Read More at Linquip Introducing different  Types of Gearbox Gearboxes have different categories, such as the Helical gearbox and Bevel helical gearbox. In this article, we will also introduce   Different Types Of Industrial Gearboxes . Different Types Of Industrial Gearboxes The 6 main types of industrial gearboxes are described below. Helical gearbox The helical gearbox is compact and a low-power consumer. This equipment is used for a broad range of industrial applications, but typically in heavy-duty operations. The helical gearbox is popu

Check different types of pumps

Image
In this article, we are going to introduce pumps. After defining the pump, we will examine its types. Stay with us. Pumps are devices that convert electrical energy into hydraulic energy using fluid motion .But what does the   Head of a Pump mean? The pump head is a measure of pump power. The higher the pump head, the greater the pressure that the pump can create. Will be.  More Here at Linquip What is Pump Curve ? The system curve is a graphical representation of the energy equation. The system head described in the system curve above is a function of static height or head. Primary and secondary losses in the system can be expressed as follows:  Click Here Each type of pump has a specific diagram, and the date marked on them are also different models. The first impression to consider is that the pressure, which represents the head, appears typically on the central vertical Y-axis. On the horizontal X-axis, we usually have the flow velocity, describing how much water the pump can tra

Scrubber & Air Pressure

Image
In this article, we are going to talk about  Scrubber System . After introducing and reviewing it, we will introduce and check Negative Air Pressure. Join us. What is Scrubber System Scrubber systems are devices for controlling air pollution and can remove some particles or gases from industrial exhaust streams. One type of system scrubber is  Dry Scrubbers . What is Dry Scrubbers ? A wet or semi-dry scrub system, unlike a wet scrubber, does not saturate the stream of flue gas treated with moisture. In some cases, no water is added, while only the amount of volatile humidity is added to the flue gas without condensation. Therefore, dry scrubbers generally do not have a stack steam column or sewage requirements. Dry scrub systems are used to remove acidic gases primarily from combustion sources. What is Negative Air Pressure ? A wet or semi-dry scrub system, unlike a wet scrubber, does not saturate the stream of flue gas treated with moisture. In some cases, no water is added, while o

Review of three types of turbines

Image
In this article, we intend to introduce and review three types of widely used turbines. Read the following. What is Kaplan Turbine? Kaplan Turbine  is a type of water turbine with adjustable blades. These turbines are primarily used in hydroelectric power plants. These turbines must be designed so that they can flow large amounts of water without damage. The design of Kaplan turbines is slightly different from other turbines.  More Details in Linquip Francis Turbine The definition of the Francis turbine is a combination of impulse and hybrid turbines. The blades rotate using both the reaction and the impact force flowing through them to generate electricity more efficiently. Francis turbines are used primarily to create more electricity in medium or large-scale hydropower plants. Francis turbines are the most common water turbines used today. "The Francis design with a head height of 30 to 600 meters has been used, but offers its best performance between 100 and 300 meters,"

Turbines and their types

Image
In this article, we intend to introduce   Different Types of Turbines . We first provide a brief definition of a turbine. A turbine is a mechanical device that extracts energy from a fluid stream and converts it into work. It is a rotating motor that can extract energy from a fluid. As you know, there are different types of turbines, some of which you may have seen closely, such as wind turbines. In the following, we will introduce the types of turbines. Turbine classification methods are based on the method of exchanging motion between the fluid and the turbine, the flow path of the fluid through the turbine, the hydraulic range of the turbine activity, and the specific speed of the turbine. Considering how the fluid flow acts on the turbine blades causes hydro turbines to be classified into two categories: impulse and reaction. Impulse Turbines If the turbine wheel is driven by the kinetic energy of the fluid that strikes the turbine blades through the nozzle or otherwise, the turb

All about Impulse Turbine

In general, hydro turbines are divided into two categories: impulse turbines and reaction turbines. This category is based on how energy is exchanged between the turbine and the fluid. In this article, we will introduce the Impulse Turbine and how it works. Impulse turbines operate based on changing velocity vectors. In general, the potential energy of water is converted to kinetic energy by one or more nozzles based on the height of the waterfall, and then the water hits the turbine blades at high speed, causing the turbine to spin. And thus generates electricity. Impulse turbines change the direction of fluid flow or high-speed gas jets. The impulse rotates to obtain the turbine and leaves the fluid flow with reduced kinetic energy. In turbine blades (moving blades), no pressure is created at medium or gas pressure because, in the case of steam or gas turbines, all pressure is applied to fixed blades (nozzles). Before reaching the turbine, the fluid acceleration head changes speed
