Introducing three important industrial parts
This article intends to introduce and review three important industrial parts: gearbox, Diesel Generator, and AC Generators. Stay with us.
Gearbox
The gearbox is an essential part of industrial machinery. The purpose of gearboxes is to increase the output torque or change the speed of an engine. Gearboxes are used in agricultural, industrial, construction, mining, and automotive equipment and are available in various designs and specifications. Read More at Linquip
Introducing different Types of Gearbox
Gearboxes have different categories, such as the Helical gearbox and Bevel helical gearbox. In this article, we will also introduce Different Types Of Industrial Gearboxes.
Different Types Of Industrial Gearboxes
The 6 main types of industrial gearboxes are described below.
- Helical gearbox
The helical gearbox is compact and a low-power consumer. This equipment is used for a broad range of industrial applications, but typically in heavy-duty operations. The helical gearbox is popular in the construction of plastics, cement, rubber, and other heavy industrial settings. Click Here
Different Types Of Automobile Gearbox
Different types of gearbox in automobile are described below.
Pre-selector Transmission
As with all things, manual transmissions went through a series of evolutions and variations as car manufacturers experimented with design.
Diesel Generator
The diesel generator is an industrial part made by combining a diesel engine with an electric generator. Its main task is to generate electrical energy. All diesel generator components are combined in an electric car and convert energy from one source to another. Therefore, a power generator works by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy. In the following, we will introduce the Diesel Generator Parts.
Each diesel generator is made up of at least nine components. Here, we will explain the different diesel generator parts. In the following figure, the main diesel generator parts are numbered and named. Read More at Linquip
AC Generators
A generator is a device that converts mechanical energy into electricity. An electric motor does reverse electrical power conversion into mechanical energy, and motors and generators have many similarities. Many motors can be mechanically driven to generate electricity. Most of them make acceptable handheld generators. AC generators convert this power to electrical power at a specific voltage and frequency depending on the prime mover and its design.
Applications of AC Generators
- Brushless alternators –these types are the main source of power in electrical power plants.
- Marine alternators – these types are used for generating power in marine applications.
